MaCC has assisted Infratec with civil engineering design services associated with a 35MW Battery Energy Storage System near Huntly in the Waikato.
Services provided included civil earthworks, road geometrics, design management of structural designers, stormwater design, tendering and procurement assistance, and assistance with construction management.
Infratec say that the project will play a pivotal role in the reduction of emissions in the Waikato and will support New Zealand’s Net Zero goal of becoming 100% renewable by 2030. More about this project can be found on the Infratec website.
