Central Stormwater Pipelines Project, Cambridge

MaCC was the lead civil engineering consultancy for this ~$10M stormwater pipeline upgrade project west of Cambridge.

Our team led the project management, construction procurement, and was lead engineers on site during construction.

Construction included challenges of stormwater civil construction through busy sections of road, coordination with other services, working with large 1.8m diameter PE lined pipes, groundwater flows, and steep sections of earthworks.

The construction contract was delivered successfully in a collaborative working arrangement with the Contractor, developer, and Council. The works were delivered in advance of key programme dates and were within agreed budgets.
