Steve Hawes

Steve is an experienced Civil Engineer working on projects for private clients, local councils, and Waka Kotahi.

Steve has a strong broad civil engineering skillset including land development, road geometrics, utilities, and stormwater management. His experience extends to roles in design and construction monitoring.  He is an experienced user of 12d and Autocad and proficient in stormwater design software including Hec-Hms, Hec-Ras, Hy-8 and FHWA Hydraulic Toolbox.

Steve has a keen eye for detail and enjoys developing robust, cost effective, fit for purpose solutions that meets the clients needs.

Steve lives in Hamilton with his partner and young daughter. When he’s not working or at home with his family you’ll find him either working on his biceps at the gym or our hitting the trails on his mountain bike.  He is also a coffee enthusiast with special skills in coffee milk art!
