Civil Engineer
BE (Civil)Sam Clark joined the MaCC team as a summer intern in 2022/23. During this period he quickly made himself a valuable team member and accepted a graduate Engineer role.
In his capacity as a graduate Engineer, Sam fulfills a range of responsibilities. He actively supports the team by collaborating on projects, providing valuable insights and implementing innovative solutions. His attention to detail and strong analytical skills enable him to conduct construction observations and to generate site reports that contribute to the success of projects.
Additionally, Sam plays a role in delivering design packages, ensuring they adhere to high standards of quality. He demonstrates his commitment to excellence by actively seeking reviews and verification of his work from senior engineers.
Sam finished his University of Waikato studies in Hamilton completing a Bachelor of Engineering and is eager to use the knowledge he has learnt over the past 4 years to create real world solutions.
He enjoys developing his knowledge further in civil engineering and is looking forward to developing his journey as a professional engineer.

Outside of Work
Sam was born in Auckland and spent most of his early childhood back and forth between Indonesia and New Zealand. Sam now lives in Hamilton where he also attended Hamilton Boys High school before going to the University of Waikato.
In his spare time Sam enjoys his football and going out on hiking adventures. When it is time to relax he enjoys the local beaches, swimming, and the occasional kayak at Lake Tarawera.
